Name: Stolen Goods
Idea: So, you owe a favor to a civilian. Not a very interesting person but he helped you before so you must do one in return. He calls upon you to go check on his ship. A ship that has been dormant for many years. Obviously, you agree to go do it because you owe a favor to him. The journey there isn't that hard, just find a body of water and see a ship. Once you get on the ship you start to notice the influx of valuables there are scattered in bags and underground. Although you're surprised by the items, you don't take any. You make sure everything looks good and tie a few knots to keep the sails intact. On your way up from below the boat, you notice a group of 4-6 people standing there. They're very tan in color with scrappy clothing. You notice quickly you're outnumbered. One of them speaks out "We're here to take back what's ours!"
Uh oh, you think to yourself. Trying to talk your way out of the situation you tell them that this isn't your ship and you don't know anything about it. They throw a potion at your feet, it blinds you and slows you. They take you as a captive and put you in the bottom of the ship. It's completely dark down there and you slowly wake up regaining your eyesight. You realize you're in the middle of the ocean now because the pirates are taking you to their home. Down below the ship, there's a bunch of scraps, and you find enough materials to put together a boat. You also notice there's a charge of some kind. Being as quick-witted as you are, you take the boat and put the charge on the wall and break the wall of the ship, and are able to get the boat in the ocean and escape. While you're escaping the pirates are firing the ship's cannons at you. There's no fighting in this quest, but you have to dodge the cannons so you don't get stuck underwater. Eventually, if you have fast enough reactions, you make it home and have to explain to the civilian what happened to his ship.
This could open for a bunch of other quests as well, having to go find the ship or go retrieve the goods on board, etc.
Possibly might not fit the theme of Dyescape, but who knows!
