Quest Side quests suggestions

just copy pasting what i put into discord
Suggestion 1:
1. go collect iron scraps from some mob (maybe kobolds)
2. go collect meat from animal, boar maybe
3. use the trap made from part 1, and meat from part 2, to lure/weaken an elite mob and finish it off as the player, or just straight catch/kill it if you cant weaken it

Suggestion 2:
depending on the length of each zone while leveling, allods did this cool thing with zone wide quests, npc at the start of the zone had 4-5 quests, collect item off rare spawns, collect rare spawn item nodes in the zone, touch 3-4 pillars, and kill x large amount of enemy(they did 50-100). doing all of them to complete the last quest he had which was do all the quests and get some blue/purple gear that was for the level the zone roughly ended at. I felt they always encouraged exploring the zones for the pillars and rare spawn mobs.
you can give the player a mark of completion for each of the segments and cash them all in for the "do all the others" type quest for a slightly better reward then a normal side quest would give

Suggestion3:
just for jay, herbalist asks you to go get a flower from the top of a mountain, its a flower you probably have a bunch of, but they specifically want this one. only the freshest of flowers will work, so make the quest timed

Suggestion 4:
an arena. a series of group quests (or solo) where the player fights in a pit against various mobs of increasing difficulty. if you've played wow its like that goblin/troll combo that appears in every expansion since tbc

Misc. suggestions
just the generic quest ideas ive seen:
-collect x item thats a node spawned in the world
-collect x item thats a drop from a mob?
-kill x mob
-escort quest (god please no)
-kill x mob for and item to use on y mob/location (ie collect water from elementals to then water some plants or something)
-killing a random mob drops an item to start a quest, usually taking it to an npc to figure out what it is and starting a small chain of side quests related to it. ie kill a kobold and it drops a sword that looks to different for kobolds, chain leads to find its kobolds teaming up with bandits and they forged them weapons.

ill probably edit more in as I come up with them, hope any of this is useful to you guys

I really like suggestions 1 and 3!

I also really like these ones, these are all killer ideas for side quests!

I hope you don't mind, but could I steal these? I think I could work on something with these! I could also use some more input on kobolds, I've worked with them before, but as far as I know, they're not a current monster of the Dyescape universe, so if you have any knowledge or thoughts on them you'd like to share with me, that'd be stellar

This one feels very arena-like to me, I'm not sure how well it could fit as a side quest, but this definitely has the potential to be something for Dyescape. Maybe if the idea was a little more expanded, you could make a separate suggestion about this?

I just threw kobold in as an example mob, you could take this kind of quest idea anywhere really.
