Ok so hear me out, sometimes people have a tendency to accidentally hit the Q key and drop things, what if there was a /lock command which adds the NoDrop tag which prevents you from accidentally dropping that item.

I'd argue that it's rather overkill to spend time programming a server sided setting to prevent you from pressing a button accidentally, whereas you could easily change the controls if Q doesn't work out for you.
I could see value in this such as preventing us from accidentally selling items if they are locked. Like you can sell your equipped item accidentally when selling old equipment or loot. Could be used past just dropping to protect against accidental actions.
