That is what Dyescape is, an MMORPG.

An MMORPG server is about role playing, as already mentioned. However, MMORPGs tend to be massive online multiplayer games, with months (if not years) of pre-made content for the player to do. Content can involve doing quests, exploring the map, clearing dungeons, collecting items, creating a guild, levelling up, unlocking skills, etc etc. It's very similar to things like World of Warcraft.
