Appreciate the bug ticket to ensure, but we'll reject this. I assume you're talking about the chickens somehow going over the fence. There's a system in place to ensure mobs don't get too far away from their initial spawn region. If you open the fence gates there, the chickens may walk through the fence as well. Considering we have a fallback system in place to ensure they don't get too far away, I don't think this is an issue.
