So, in many MMORPGs, when completing dungeons and attempting to clear the boss, many members of the party/guild have individualized tasks, that all go towards the same goal, in my honest opinion towards the later end of the game when there’s going to NEED to be multiple players to clear a RG (rift guardian) or a tough boss, or something similar, usually there’s a few archetypes, a passive buffer, a healer, DPS, support, Boss Killer, and Crowd Control, we already have most of these potential archetypes through other abilities. But the one I feel we’re missing the most is Crowd Control. For example Mages could have large AoE based CC, that pulls enemies in, Knights could have Single Target Stun for a larger duration, and Priests could have AoE stun for a short duration, as well as potential for a smaller AoE based CC like mages, but smaller and has “charges/holds” that allow you to use it multiple times per cooldown.
