you can download a marriage plugin really easily

And have it integrated into the rest of the system... how exactly? Dyescape is completely custom built from the ground up so everything is as ideal as can be for us, one does not simply drag and drop a public plugin in and expect it to work ;)

I know you guys are hyper-elite with the custom codes, but yeah you literally drop a plugin in the /plugins folder and voila it loads in and stuff ;);). On a real note though I mention this because you guys have so many things to do that miscellaneous stuff like this seems way far off from ever being implemented. You use FeatherBoard which isn't custom (I assume dyescape uses this), a marriage plugin is really not that complicated unless you want it to be super complicated.

Well, reason is because everything in Dyescape is connected one way or another. The character plugin makes items, which the shop, quests, NPC and creature plugin needs. Shops are opened through NPCs, but NPCs can also hold conversations and give quests. Also note that most data is saved on character level rather than player level. Everything is connected, which is the reason why it all needs to he custom; to allow this connection. A public plugin simply doesn't use any of this and it will thus quickly turn into a mess if we use them.

We don't use it yet, I wanted to use it for parties. We can use public plugins, thats not an issue. The issues arrive only when the plugin has data it needs to save. Featherboard doesn't have any player data; a marriage plugin does. We'd have to modify half of the plugin just to get it working in our system. Which brings us to the next point:

a marriage plugin is really not that complicated unless you want it to be super complicated.
If it's super simple, it can be created in a day time. Our core allows us to create complex plugins in a short amount of time. Simple things like these could be done in a single day. Trying to get an existing plugin to work would take longer, as explained above.
