As part of Dyescape's operation to provide you with our services and/or products, some of your personal data may be processed. Dyescape processes your personal data because you make use of our services and/or because you explicitly shared this information with us. Below you will find a list of what personal data we process about you.

Special and/or sensitive personal data we process

Our website and/or services have no intention collecting data of website visitors and/or clients of other services that are younger than 16 years of age (except for IP address access logging), unless they have permission from their parent or legal guardian. We, however, cannot verify if a visitor is older than 16 years of age. For this reason, we advise parents to be involved in the online activity of their children to avoid accidental processing of data from children under the age of 16 without the consent of the parents or legal guardian. Automated decisions

Dyescape makes some automated decisions that can have significant consequences for individuals based on automated processing of your personal data. It concerns the data that are processed by computer programs or systems without the interference of a human (for example; an employee of Dyescape). Automated decisions that Dyescape currently performs on your personal data:

  • When signing up on our forums, your e-mail and IP-address is used to check the database of StopForumSpam. It is an automated decision that significantly helps us keep the forums free of spam and malicious activity. Your account registration may be limited or rejected based on the results of this check.

How long we keep personal data

Dyescape keeps your personal data no longer than strictly necessary to actualise the purpose it was processed for. Your username & e-mail address is used to make you a registered member on our website. Without these two, your account cannot be used. Therefore, this data will not be removed until you request us to deactivate your account. You can do so by contacting us per e-mail at [email protected]. Your IP addresses will be kept for 1 year to ensure the security of our systems and safety of our community services as best as we can. After an IP address has not been used for a year to access our services and/or products, it is erased from our systems.

Sharing of personal data with third parties

Dyescape does not share any of your personal data to any third parties unless absolutely necessary for the execution of our agreement with you (such as payment processors and payment gateway companies) or to comply with legal obligations.

Cookies or similar techniques we use

Dyescape uses functional, analytical & tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is saved in the browser of your operating system at the first time visiting of our website. These cookies make sure that our website works like it should and that your preferences will be remembered. These cookies are also used to make the website function and to be able to optimise our website. Besides all that we use cookies that track your browsing in order that we can show customized content and advertisements to your liking.
